Our experience was marred by the constant noise from outside. The church bells chiming early in the morning were particularly disruptive, waking us up too soon. Additionally, the bathroom was tiny, and the lack of blackout blinds made it challenging to sleep in during daylight hours.

I almost gave this place a good review, but the breakfast room was cramped and the choice was basic—who wouldve thought a hotel in Austria couldn't manage better? Late checkout was totally ignored, ruining my plans. Eager for my entitled upgrade, I was sorely disappointed. Will not recommend, clearly they didn't appreciate my grace.

Hotel Krone 1512 has a fantastic, central location that's perfect for exploring Salzburg. The spacious apartment we stayed in included a large living and dining room, and the beds were super comfortable with American Boxspring design. Plus, the free WiFi was a great perk for staying connected.

The location of Hotel Krone 1512 is phenomenal. Just a 10-minute walk to the old town and close to the main train station, it made exploring easy. I loved the cozy room that had a super comfortable king bed and a great view from the upper floor. The charming atmosphere of the hotel, located in a historic building, added much character to the experience. Having unlimited access to fresh coffee and tea around the clock was a delightful touch. I found the breakfast decent. it had good options, but nearby eateries offer better variety and pricing. One downside was the lack of air conditioning, making the room a bit too warm during my stay, especially in the summer heat. Additionally, while the staff at the front desk were generally nice, a couple were less attentive during busy hours. This made the check-in process feel a bit disorganized. If they could improve the air conditioning and ensure all staff maintain a welcoming attitude, it would enhance the guest experience greatly.

We had a lovely stay with a great breakfast featuring delicious local options. The bar next door had enjoyable drinks. The garden area was perfect for unwinding with a view, and there was a cozy terrace to relax on as well. Just a heads up, the church bells can be a bit loud early in the morning, but it didn’t ruin our experience. ☕️

We enjoyed our stay, especially enjoying the central location that made it easy for our family to explore Salzburg's charming streets and vibrant shops. The spacious room accommodated our needs comfortably, making it a perfect base for family adventures.

In my wife’s opinion, having better climate control would improve comfort significantly.
